GiftBox is an online gift manager. PHP and MySQL were used to create this online application. The site allows its users to keep track of gifts they've received, gifts they've given to others, gift ideas that they have for future holidays, and where/when gifts need to be returned. Users can also compile a wishlist of gifts and email it to their friends and family, send thank you e-cards, and receive email reminders of upcoming holidays.
An e-commerce subscription feature was created to allow GiftBox users to upgrade their free accounts to "paid" accounts. The subscription feature automatically charges users a membership fee every year and automatically informs them if their credit card information becomes invalid.
